If you're here, then we're all in agreement that The Incredible Hulk was one of the best cartoons of it's time.  (And if you're not, what the heck are you doing here?!?)  Though the situation is, just like all other shows, some episodes stood out better than others.  This review section is nothing other than the collective opinions of two overgrown kids reliving our favorites (and least favorites). While in most cases, the child inside of us refuses to view these episodes in an adult perspective, it unfortunately happened on occasion as you'll see.  Hopefully we represent the popular opinion of what so many children were thinking during Saturday Mornings in the 1980's.

It was in the county of Staffordshire, UK, in 1980, that I was born and raised. Not long into my life, I soon discovered just how entertaining kids' television could be in the early 1980s! We were always a bit slow off the mark over here in the UK in getting any truly decent cartoons, so I would look forward to anything new with baited breath. One of my favorites was the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (it was the 80s after all!), which was shown on Monday afternoons. On one such Monday in April 1984, He-Man was replaced by a set of even bigger muscles. Green ones. This was my first exposure to the Incredible Hulk in any form, and I was hooked from day one. For thirteen weeks those episodes brightened up my life, and I shall always look upon them with happiness.

Born in 1973, I was raised in the state of Alabama, USA. Seven years into my life, my father finally gave up his constant struggle to try and get me and my older brothers to like sports.  Suddenly my Saturdays were free to do what I had so long desired: watch cartoons!  For years I woke up at 6:00 am with no alarm clock, prepared my bowl of Fruity Pebbles and was in heaven for the next five hours.  I had become a big comic book fan as a result of Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends.  Marvel comic books had a BIG announcement on the covers that the Incredible Hulk would "join" Spider-Friends and his Amazing Friends on Saturdays and I was a bit disappointed that that wasn't literal.  Still I watched the cartoon every Saturday and consider it one of my fondest childhood memories.

 - GREAT (Relatively speaking. This isn't Gone with the Wind.)

 - GOOD  (Better than most cartoons of the 80's.)

 - FAIR     (A typical Saturday morning cartoon of the 80's.)

 - BAD     (Don't say we didn't warn you.)
